Take your summer grilling up a notch! Come over to my rooftop garden and learn to make delicious and easy pizza on the grill! I will show you how to make a fantastic and versatile crispy crust, using only three ingredients, and then the fun really starts! You will get to create your own pizza, load it with your choice of available toppings, and then grill and enjoy it, along with an incredible view of the downtown Chicago skyline. Bring your favorite wine, beer or other beverage to enjoy with your pizza (and a dessert pizza too!).

As a Food Network featured chef and certified health coach, I believe that food can tantalize the senses while still being healthy. I specialize in creating recipes that are based on whole, clean food with a focus on anti-inflammatory ingredients; this class does use gluten but can be dairy free. Pizza ingredients will be organic (when available).

Indulge your senses with a garden to table dinner in a beautiful urban rooftop setting. Enjoy eight courses of fresh, seasonal cuisine while gazing on the lights of downtown Chicago – amid the beautiful garden where much of your meal was grown!

Dishes will change with the seasons, but past favorites have included such delights as Smoked Trout over crisp radish, Ginger Orange Soup with Basil Pistou, Grilled Fig Salad with Apple Curry Dressing, and Moroccan Mushroom and Turkey Meatballs over Quinoa with a lovely, piquant Chimichurri. Desserts like Salted Pistachio Bark and Grilled Banana Bread Pudding will round out your meal. Bring a bottle of your favorite wine or other beverage to complement your meal.

I am a Food Network featured chef and certified health coach, and I love to create dishes that are both full of flavor and healthy goodness. Your taste buds will experience a decadent feast, while your body gets a healthy treat!

Struggling with boredom in your dishes? Want to do something cooler than bbq chicken at your next party? This is the class for you! Having a couple of easy soups and salads on the grill will change how you grill forever AND add an air of sophistication to all your parties!
In this class you will learn to make a simple sauces that can take your dishes from bland to exciting and can go from sauce to soup! And we do it all on the grill in a beautiful urban rooftop setting. 

Menu based on seasonal availability, but look for the likes of these scrumptious dishes:

Rise and Dine! Join Monique on the rooftop (weather permitting) for Sunday morning movement, followed by a deliciously healthy brunch. Each session will feature a new yoga instructor!

Expect fun dishes like Grilled Egg-Stuffed Peppers, Cucumber Quinoa Salad with Lemon Gremolata and Rum Grilled Grapefruits.

After Yoga you can watch or join in on the cooking, throw a game of bags, mingle with others, take in the panoramic view of the city or simply enjoy your BYOB bubbly in the lounge.

SALT BLOCK COOKING CLASS
