SUMMARY:Understanding the Microbiome: Virtual Class
DESCRIPTION:Understanding the Microbiome: a virtual class\nAcne\, allergies\, autoimmune diseases\, anxiety\, bowel disease\, migraines\, excessive weight … all these are have one thing in common- an unhealthy microbiome. \nDigestive health is intricately connected to virtually every aspect of your health. Have you heard of the gut-brain connection? \n “Gut-Brain-Skin Axis” theory is a connection that is understood to be a two-way street: emotional states can alter your normal intestinal microflora\, which can increase intestinal permeability (leaky gut) and contribute to systemic inflammation. And vice versa—your microflora can influence your emotional states because these vitally important “good” bacteria produce neurotransmitters\, or chemical messengers that play a role in mood and cognitive function. \nDid you know your microbiome controls how many calories you absorb from the food you eat? It also impacts food cravings. Anxiety and depression. And the release of hormones. \nIn this class\, you will learn \n\nWhat is the microbiome?\nWhat does it do?\nConsequences of an unhealthy microbiome?\nEnvironmental factors that hurt the microbiome\nWhat helps the microbiome?\n\nWe’ll even connect weakened immune systems with c-section delivery\, formula-fed babies\, antibiotic use and birth control pills. And relieve for low stomach acid and leaky gut\, \nThis class has a slight focus for Wellness Coaches\, but it’s great for anyone looking to take their health to the next level. Receive a class workbook and handouts you can use to help uncover digestive challenges. \nClass details: \nClass will be held on Thursday\, November 12th\, 6-9pm \nClass workbook will be sent out prior to the start of class. \nThis interactive class is accessible to anyone via zoom. \nSpace limited! Register and save your spot today!  \ncontact Monique@happyeatshealthy.com with questions or additional payment options.

SUMMARY:Fall Into Health - Body Cleanup Wellness Program
DESCRIPTION:Don’t let 202o win! End it stronger than you started!\nReady to cut the  sugar\, burn fat and feel comfortable in your skin?\nAre you experiencing any of the following?\n\nExcess weight\, especially around your belly\nSugar or salt cravings on a regular basis\nDry skin\, rash\, acne or breakouts\nCan’t think straight or feel like you have brain fog\nLate afternoon energy slump\nCan’t sleep or wake up still feeling tired\nFeel like you’ve lost your glow\n\nIf so\, it might be time for a gentle whole foods clean up! Even when we eat clean foods\, we’re exposed to toxins in our environment all the time\, and those hitchhiking chemicals can really put a kink in our weight loss goals! \nThis program is perfect for you if you’ve never ‘detoxed‘ before\, and it’s especially right if you’re nervous about what might happen to you during a detox. \nDetox. Cleanse. Clean out. Purge.  These words can be very scary. And this whole process can be miserable. I know\, I’ve done it. \nBut it doesn’t have to be. That’s why I created this 14-Day Body Cleanup Wellness Program. I’ll be there for you every step of the way. \nRegister today- we start on October 25! \nIn the Winter we tend to be more hungry in cold weather and we need a certain internal temperature to function as mammals\, which requires consuming more energy. \nEating more and keeps our bodies in a continual digesting mode; this means we lose energy for other necessary functions\, like pulling nutrients from our food and it weakens our immune systems. This in turn which makes us more vulnerable to getting sick. A fall detox allows us to harness our energy\, hit reset on our food intake and on our digestion system\, and it keeps us healthy and energized. \nPart of the eating program is focused on Monomeals with Kitchari and Congee. They are just like they sound\, a meal comprised of one (or in this case just a couple of) ingredients. Monomeals are not a “fad”\, “diet” or anything you do long-term. This is just an easy way to give your body a BREAK from trying to sort out all the different enzymes needed to break down protein\, carbs\, fat\, as well as those mysterious additives and fillers permitted in our food system. \nThrough this detox we will: \n\nClear out excessive heat\nRemove toxins or waste in your cells\nBalance your weight before the heavy energy of winter fully settles in\nLubricates your cells to boost your immune system \nBuild a strong foundation for a healthy winter\nDrop extra pounds\nExperience clearer skin and greater mental clarity\n\nDuring this detox\, you will not have to spend hundreds of dollars on powdered swamp water or exotic\, dehydrated root vegetables. You will eat real\, whole food which will give you amazing health\, energy and keep you feeling  perfectly satisfied with your food choices without monthly supplements or costly juices. \nWe are going to focus on hearty\, grounding and comforting whole foods.  \nDuring this cleanse you will  \n\nbecome balanced\nhave more clarity and clear thinking\nexperience better communication\nhave a clearer mind\nfeel lighter\nhave better digestion\n\nyou might even experience \n\nimproved eyesight\nrenewed motivation\nhealthy habits to last a lifetime\n\nOctober 25 – November 7\, 2020: Live kick off call is Thursday\, October 22nd at 7pm CT. SUMMARY:EVERYDAY WELLNESS PROJECT
DESCRIPTION:EWP is over\, but join our new project: BITE-SIZED WELLNESS: \nIt’s digestible bits of wellness knowledge delivered when and where it’s best for you to view! \n++++++ \nEVERYDAY WELLNESS PROJECT with Jennifer and Monique   \nWellness is a state of being healthy in the mind\, body\, and soul. But living a healthy life doesn’t happen in a vacuum. If you adopt an entirely new lifestyle tomorrow (think diets!)\, you can’t expect the world around you to automatically adapt to your “new” lifestyle.  \n  \nThat’s why we created the EVERYDAY WELLNESS PROJECT. It’s a very simple monthly subscription service designed to give you an opportunity to learn about\, and take steps towards\, mindful modifications to your habits. The result is more lasting and long-term meaningful healthier living. \nYES\, SIGN ME UP!\nJoin anytime! \nUpon registration\, you will receive a link to join our private Facebook page.  \n  \nYOU’RE BUSY\, UNMOTIVATED\, IN A RUT- WE GET IT! \n  \nHas your health taken a backseat? This is a typical result when we find ourselves in these challenging times. It’s ok\, we’ve all been experiencing varying levels of commitment to our health. The key is getting back on track.  \n  \nTHESE ARE THE TIMES OUR BODY NEEDS US MOST \nThese are the times when it’s ultra important to keep our immune systems strong\, to commit to a consistent routine\, to keep a healthy mind and body\, and to breathe deep.  \n  \nSkipping exercise & not being health conscious feels acceptable during stressful times. But once you start\, it can easily lead into a month of this pattern! When you miss one session\, it can lead to missing two\, leading to missing three\, six or a whole month of movement. The same happens with our food intake- how many times has one slip\, one decision to eat something you know won’t make you feel great in the long run\,ended up sabotaging an entire day? \n  \nCOMFORT FOODS AND LETHARGY ARE TYPICAL UNINITIATED RESPONSES TO STRESS. \nA global pandemic is a major contributor to stress. \nStress eating. Anxiety eating. Boredom eating. Crap-food is-easier-to-eat eating. \nThe more you eat this way\, the more you will crave those foods. Then you’ll feel unmotivated and sluggish leading you to feel disappointed. Which then causes you to reach for those same foods again because the ‘why stop now’ or ‘I’ll start tomorrow’ talk kicks in. Thus the perpetual cycle ensues. \n  \nBeing lethargic leads to lack of motivation to do the things that are good for our health\, physically & mentally.  \n  \nIT’S TIME FOR A REJUVENATING BOOST WITH ‘LEGS’! \nWe needed a solution that could help us and our clients snap out of a rut.  \n  \nEVERYDAY WELLNESS isn’t about crazy diet schemes\, month long water fasts or any other outrageous health craze.  \n\nIt’s about making daily choices towards our wellbeing\, and calming the mind through simple breathwork to allow you to approach your day with more ease.\nIt’s about taking a break from some of the habits that may not be serving your best health.\nIt’s about shifting the focus to quality\, wholesome food and thinking very intentionally about what we are eating and how we are living.\nIt’s about feeling more radiant and more at peace.\n\n  \nThe best part is that this isn’t just a little reset. It’s an ongoing commitment to your long-term wellness. What you learn every week is knowledge you will use for a lifetime. \n  \nWE PRACTICE THIS ON OURSELVES! \nWe don’t believe in asking you to do things we wouldn’t do ourselves. We’ve made a commitment to focus on our health\, as a result we consistently experience: \n\nBoundless energy\nBetter digestion including less bloating\nBetter sleep\nGlowing skin\nIncreased happiness\nStronger self awareness\nLess aches and pains\nEasier weight management\n\n  \nWHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE? \n\nFood Freedom\nMindful Mindset \nTaller\, leaner body\nIncreased flexibility\nAbility to manage stress better\nMore balanced hormones\nWays to balance your blood sugar\n<insert> what you want to experience here (you are going to be the creator!)\n\n  \nHOW DOES IT WORK? \nWhen you sign up for our June subscription\, you’ll receive an invite to join us in a private Facebook page\, which will serve as your primary day-by-day contact and guide. \n  \nExpect reminders\, tips and new concepts to keep you engaged and challenged on your health journey along with a deeper connection to your inner spiritual guide. Every week day we will post new videos that will help you learn new skills\, understand how to calm your mind\, practice a new yoga routine and have you exploring and cooking new foods. \n  \nSO YOU’LL GET ALL THIS: \n  \n\nWeekly kitchen demonstration videos\nWeekly yoga\nWeekly meditation videos\nDaily week-day support and cheerleading from Jennifer and Monique\, but also ongoing support from a tribe of like-minded individuals\nDeeper understanding of how food\, stress and anxiety affects your body\, your mood and your mindset so you can make more informed choices\nHealthy (pantry-friendly) recipes \nPantry stocking guides\nGrocery buying tips\nAccess to our private Facebook page\nDiscounts to our classes\, events and retreats!\n\n  \nYOU ARE YOUR #1 \n  \nPutting work\, kids\, spouses\, friends\, television watching and virtual happy hours before you sets the tone that you aren’t important. The challenge is balancing it all. We understand because we’ve been there.  \n  \nBut we also want you to know that improving your health is doable. And it gets easier the more you focus on it. And everything else will settle around that and find its place. You’ll actually feel the difference in everything from time management to your ability to confront stress to your confidence level to how your clothes fit. \n  \nALL THAT’S LEFT TO DO IS REGISTER \nAccess all of this great knowledge and gain the support of a like-minded tribe for this special introductory offer: $25 per month. SUMMARY:5 Day Weekday Wellness Reset
DESCRIPTION:I started out pretty strong at the beginning of the lock down. I reaffirmed my morning ritual\, focused on a daily workout and ate my typical ‘pretty clean’ diet. \nBut over the past few months I’ve noticed my energy dropping. Pants getting a little snug. My sleep being a little more disrupted. Handfuls of snacks making their way into my mouth. Lot’s of late night tv watching. And quite an increase of imbibing. \nIt’s ok. There is a global pandemic going on. But\, with the warmer weather beginning to peak from behind the curtains\, I’m ready to get feel better. Cleaner. Lighter and more refreshed. \nHow about you? \nThat’s why I created this 5-Day Weekday Wellness Reset. Monday through Friday only. You’re free to just be on the weekend. Only 5 days at a stretch. Totally doable. \nAside from food\, over the course of the 10 days (total) we’ll focus on: \n\nProper hydration\nStress reduction\nNourishing nutrition\nSleep hygiene\nDaily movements (elimination and exercise!)\n\nSounds like a lot\, but breath deep. I’m going to walk you through the whole thing\, we’re going to do it together. I’ll be there for you every step of the way. \nThis isn’t a detox\, or a cleanse or a diet. Just way to get back to basics and help your body hit the reset button. \nIncluded:\n\nThe recipe book and guide.\nMeal suggestions.\nDaily support from me.\nA daily mindfulness exercise.\nOngoing accountability!\nOptions to go deeper if you’re ready.\n\nYou get to decide how intensely you want to follow along. Maybe you skip a day. Or maybe you add a few days. However you decide to do it\, I’ll still be there for you. \nIt’s time to lift the veil and prepare to come out of lock down. Together\, we’ll make this as stress-free as possible. \nMake payment (below) or contact Monique to get registered: (monique@happyeatshealthy.com) \nhttps://www.paypal.me/MoniqueCostello/49.00 \n

SUMMARY:14-Day Wellness Program
DESCRIPTION:Detox. Cleanse. Clean out. Purge.  These words can be very scary. And this whole process can be miserable. I know\, I’ve done it. \nBut it doesn’t have to be. That’s why I created a 14-Day Wellness Program. In just 2 weeks you’ll feel the best you’ve felt in ages- it feels sooo dang good. \nAside from food\, over the course of the 14 days we’ll focus on: \n\nProper hydration\nStress reduction\nProper nutrition\nSleep\nDaily movements (elimination and exercise!)\nAnd we’ll even takes steps to Reduce our toxic exposure\n\nI’m going to walk you through the whole thing\, we’re going to do it together. I’ll be there for you every step of the way. \nRegister today- we start on January 22nd! \n**YOU CAN START WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT FOR YOU!** \nOfficially the group is starting on  January 22nd. But if that timing doesn’t work for you\, if you are still traveling or aren’t ready for whatever reason – no problem. Once you register you’ll be added to the Facebook group where you’ll have access to tips and tricks you can implement even before you start! A winter detox allows us to harness our energy\, hit reset on our food intake and on our digestion system\, and it keeps us healthy and energized. \nDuring this cleanse you will  \n\nbecome balanced\nhave more clarity and clear thinking\nexperience better communication\nhave a clearer mind\nfeel lighter\nhave better digestion\n\nyou might even experience \n\nimproved eyesight\nrenewed motivation\nhealthy habits to last a lifetime\n\n January 22nd –  Feb 4th: Live kick off call is Sunday\, January 19th at 9am CT. Replay will be available on the FB page for access anytime. \nWhat’s included in your 2-week Wellness Program \n\nGuidebook\nRecipes\nKick- off call\nPre and Post detox guidance\nPrivate Facebook page\nFull support from Monique when you need it\nLifetime of wellness knowledge\nBONUS: upon registration\, you’ll begin receiving tips one week prior to our kick off date to help you get prepared to get the most out of the program. SUMMARY:Healthy Product Spotlight: Open House
DESCRIPTION:NEW DATE: Tuesday\, November 26 \nOne question I hear over and over again is ‘which one should I buy’? Whether it’s a magnesium pill\, brand of maple syrup or which face lotion\, it’s super confusing to know which brand you can trust\, which ingredients should we be avoiding and what one is going to work best for me and you? \nI’m a big fan of sampling before buying. In our weekly newsletter we share one product that we love for one reason or another\, but that still means you have to trust that YOU are going to like it. \nNow we’re going to take this a step further and host a quarterly open house that will allow you to test out some of our favorite products along with us. We’ll have a seasonal treat or two cooking up from our Recipe section and you’ll get to mingle with others in our tribe. We’ve even extended the hours so you can come during mid day or after work- whatever works best with your schedule! \nThere is no cost to you\, we just ask that you RSVP to Monique so we have some idea of how many to plan for and when to expect you. Looking forward to seeing you! \nLocation: West Town\, Chicago
