Admittedly, this recipe is pretty fun because of the butterfly pea flower, which gives the Blue Moon Milk its pretty lavender blue color. You could skip this step and still have a lovely relaxing Moon Milk.

Blue Moon Milk
1 1/4 cups milk of choice (cow’s milk, almond, coconut, cashew, oat)
1/4 teaspoon ashwagandha powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sweetener of choice to taste (maple syrup, raw honey, or pure monk fruit extract)
1-2 teaspoons ghee or coconut oil
½ tsp black pepper
Optional:
3 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flower tea (loose herb)
Organic flower petals for garnish
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients in a small pot until warm. Use a frother or whisk to whisk the oil into the milk.
Enjoy while warm.
