Big box retailers and e-commerce stores are all throwing sales and deals your way right now. I was actually shocked at just how many emails were in my inbox this morning pushing sales for products that I don’t really need. The emails, the sales, the commercials, the products, the noise … it’s a lot of clutter.
If you’re going to buy something, I want to encourage you to shop local and to think about experiences rather than stuff. Material items may bring immediate joy, but before long these items gets pushed aside, set onto shelves, put into boxes, forgotten about and ultimately become more clutter.
Experiences are a bigger part of ourselves, they define our passion and purpose, bond friendships, create memorable memories and can even make a difference in our lives. A restaurant outing, a concert, a show, a massage, a trip or a workout package – all great examples of experiences. Plus giving experiences is often a great way to also support local, independent business- like me!
I might be a little biased, but if you want to give the best gift of all –give the gift of health. None of the clutter matters when you don’t feel well. Just a little something to think about.
Who do you know that could use a little help with their health? Make your list and check it twice. Then reach out and let’s talk about the options (classes, coaching, clean beauty and home products, vip sessions, detoxes, retreats and wellness weekends … or something completely customized.)
Give the gift that truly gives back.
