Need a snack? Or a dessert? One that will satisfy your sweet tooth and but not make you feel guilty? One that can be kept in the freezer for just the right time?
I got you covered with my Frozen Banana Snickers Bites! These delightful Banana Snickers Bites are creamy, crunchy, sweet and savory all in one. And it’s pretty reminiscent of a snickers bar (anyone else ever keep their snickers in the freezer??) Peanuts are the classic snickers nut, but mix and match the toppings for endless versions.
Frozen Banana Snickers Bites
Almond butter (or nut butter of choice
Dates (or other dried fruit of choice), chopped
Variety of toasted nuts/seeds, chopped
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper (choose a pan that will fit in your freezer).
Slice the banana in half lengthwise, then slice each half into thirds.
Smear each banana bite with nut butter. Sprinkle with chopped dried fruit and nuts or seeds.
Melt the chocolate in a small bowl. Drizzle over the Snickers Banana Bites. You can enjoy the banana bites now, but I prefer them frozen. Place in the freezer for at least on hour. Store in a sealed glass container. Enjoy right from the freezer.
Nuts & dates.
