This might be the simplest appetizer on the planet….next to opening a bag of chips. But unlike chips, this blue cheese honeycomb appetizer is creamy, chewy, satisfying and oh so elegant!
I serve this at room temperature, but I love when the heat of summer softens the honeycomb and blue cheese – it’s such a dreamy combination. And it works as a dessert platter too, just add a few berries and apples to the platter.
Pick the honeycomb up at your local farmers market honey stands, it’s the perfect season for honeycombs. I try to keep a honeycomb in my pantry at all times when possible.
Blue Cheese Honeycomb Appetizer
1-3 ounces blue cheese
crackers of choice
Place the honeycomb in the middle of a pretty platter. Crumble the blue cheese over the top and around the honeycomb.
Serve at room temperature with crackers and a sturdy spreading knife.0
