Almond milk. Sesame milk. Oat milk. Dairy free milk can be made from really anything …. like a banana. Blend with water and you’re good to go. It’s lightly sweetened from the banana with a boost of protein from the hemp seeds; perfect with breakfast cereal or granola.
Or try it warm with a pinch of cardamom, turmeric and ginger to create a really delicious golden milk. Fight inflammation, improve sleep and soothe the soul off to sleep deliciously.

Banana Hemp Milk
1 banana
1/2 cup hemp seeds
~1.5 cups water
Place all the ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth. Add more or less water for a thicker or thinner milk.
Warm Golden Banana Milk
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
pinch of salt
small knob of ginger
turn or two of fresh black pepper
1 tsp sweetener of choice, if needed
Warm Golden Banana: Blend the banana hemp milk with remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour milk into a pan and warm gently. Overheating can cause a little lumpiness and separation, simply whisk back together.
