Often I hear from clients that they wish they had engaged me sooner.
There is a part of them that felt a little embarrassed about having to admit they needed help or that they didn’t know everything about their body, their health or how to stop the pain.
Heck, I’ve done it too. There are times when I’ve put off going to my doctor because I hadn’t started taking the supplements they wanted me to try. Or I wanted to lose those 10lbs before going back. I put off my dental visit because I knew I hadn’t been flossing enough. I get it, we all want to show off our good side.
But what if we changed our perspective and looked at this as an opportunity to ensure a more successful journey towards our goals? No famous athlete goes it alone without a coach. Singers and actors all have a posse on their side to help them along the way and to pick them up when they stumble. So why shouldn’t you?
Working with me, a Certified Integrative Health Coach, is more than just what to eat and how you exercise. The quality and quantity of your sleep, how you deal with stress and your emotional well-being also play a role in your overall health. I’m not taking the place of your doctors, who diagnose and treat illnesses; rather health coaches can teach preventative measures that thwart a visit to your doctor altogether.

Getting healthy isn’t a quick fix. It’s a marathon not a sprint. It’s one day at a time, heck, sometimes it’s taking one hour at a time.
